Ready for another fantastic cup? Let's rock this AeroPress recipe!
Gear Up:
- AeroPress or AeroPress Go
- AeroPress Micro Filter Papers or Fellow Prismo
- Coffee Scales
- Coffee Grinder
What You'll Need:
- 12g of coffee (medium grind)
- 200ml of water
Let's Brew:
- Get all your cool gear and coffee lined up.
- Pop a filter paper into the cap and give it a good rinse with plenty of water.
- Heat up your water to a toasty 97°C.
- Set your AeroPress in the inverted position, with the wide parts on top and bottom (screw cap facing up).
- Grind up that coffee to a medium grind, like caster sugar.
- Toss 12g of coffee into the AeroPress, give it a gentle shake to even things out.
- Put the AeroPress on the scales and hit reset to zero.
Pour and Press Magic:
- Start that timer and pour 200 grams of hot water in a circular dance.
- Give it a good stir – five times should do it. Make sure all the grounds are soaking.
- Screw on the cap and wait until 1:45.
- Carefully flip that AeroPress onto a vessel at the 2:00 mark.
- At 2:00, press down like you mean it! Should take about 20-30 seconds – keep pressing until you hear that satisfying 'hissing' sound.
- Aim to have all that deliciousness brewed up by 2:20 – 2:30 minutes.
There you go! Enjoy the magic you just created. Sip, savor, and high five yourself for being a coffee wizard! ☕✨
