Overview

A beautiful Mexico lot via the GRAPOS Co-Operative, working out of the Chiapas region in southern Mexico. This offering from GRAPOS is a much more chocolatey-forward cup than we've seen out of Chiapas in the past. A fitting takeover for our initial Ethiopian edition of CBT, chocolatey, nutty, hints of syrupy stone fruit. An elegantly balanced espresso for the masses.

The Producer

GRAPOS was formed in 2007 and consisted of 90 member farmers. The group now includes over 3,000 member farmers and covers an area including the micro-regions of Siltepec, Porvenir and Tapachula within Chiapas. Coffee from GRAPOS is cultivated on approximately 5,560 hectares and has an altitude range of 1200-1600 MASL. There are multiple coffee varieties grown including Bourbon, Caturra, Catuaí, and Typica. We're so excited to get this brand-new lot out to all of you from this wonderful collective.
